Understanding Dyslexia

The IDA (International Dyslexia Association) provides a brief introduction to the world of dyslexia, and allows you to begin to navigate through their plentiful resources.

Dyslexia Screening for Schools

Located on the IDA website,  The Colorado Learning Disabilities Questionnaire – Reading Subscale (CLDQ-R) is a screening tool designed to measure risk of reading disability (i.e. dyslexia) in school-age children (Willcutt, Boada, Riddle, Chhabildas, DeFries & Pennington, 2011). 

Dyslexia Accommodations

The IDA provides a PDF handout for schools, teachers, and parents detailing appropriate accommodations for students with dyslexia.
